Hoc's Mad Max x Lyric
Hoc’s Merlin is back in work after quite a break and has returned to his schooling with a great attitude. He has a beautiful, even trot and soft, floaty canter, plus he is looking great over a showjump. Hoc’s Merlin is a combination of classic dressage lines through Richmeed Medallion, the sire of many very successful dressage horses and a stallion who enjoyed a long and successful dressage career with Heath Ryan and Ann-Maree right through to Grand Prix. There are also classic jumping lines through Hoc’s Mistic, by Monopol, who was a Grand Prix showjumper consistently jumping fences over 1.80m and up to 2.20m. Her dam, Misty Claret, is by the great Souvenir and out of a Black Pampas mare called Sweet Sue. Misty Claret was a full sister to Mickey Mouse who was campaigned by Vicki Roycroft. Classic thoroughbred lines come through Merlin’s dam, who has a mix of great staying blood lines and also running back to some great jumping lines.
